Today we were stood up by Barb's sister Sharon who was supposed to meet us at Pig n Pancake restaurant in Astoria at 12:30. By 1 PM, when we weren't able to reach her by land line or cell phone, we went ahead and ordered our meal. I won't repeat what her exclamation was when Barb finally was able to get her on the phone.
We watched the 2 hour final episode of American Idol, in which both of the finalist were given a new Ford Hybrid car, and David Cook came out as the winner. Nothing to watch now till next January when it starts all over again. Maybe I will get a few other things finished.
