Africa In The Fifties

Retirement

Monday it all came to an end.  Unfortunately, it was not the nice sunny day that we had coming over on Friday.  Chains or traction devices were required over the pass, so it was a lot of 4 wheeling coming back. Arrived back at Carole's early afternoon.

Every one left on Sunday PM except the Bordens, but all we did was sit around and eat, drink and be merry.

Saturday at 3 PM we jumped into 2 vehicles and headed to Christmas Valley to have dinner at the Cowboy Dinner Tree. This is about 20 minutes South of Sun River on Hwy 97 and then another 55 minutes South East on Hwy 31.

Weekend at Sun River

On Friday the 9th we headed over the mountains to Central Oregon to spend the weekend at Sun River with three other couples.  The Gourleys, the Mitchels and the Langs joined us late Friday PM. The evening was spent sitting around snacking and catching up on the latest family news.
