It was definitely a short night for myself getting in at two AM, but the grandchildren were coming in to check on us by seven. It had been decided before the grandchildren arrived, that we would do the two dollar, all the you can eat, pancake breakfast, at the club house. This serves to help keep the mess out of grandma's kitchen.
After breakfast, grandma and Richelle loaded the kids into the mini van, and headed to the beach. As you will see from the pictures, a fun time was had by all. I stayed behind and worked on setting up the spare satellite dish and some computer and on line time. After returning from the beach and a snack, there was another dip in the pool.
Carole and Rich were attending a meeting in Salem, after which Carole headed for the camp ground. Since Rich did not come, Richelle decided to spend another night. Barb tried to get a good fire going in our fire ring, but the lack of some good kindling, to get it started, and an ax to split the wood smaller, it probably wasn't as successful as it could have been. Then it was off to bed after an evening snack.
