We got up early this morning and worked at getting the Coach ready to head to the coast for a few weeks. With the slides pulled in and the Suzuki attached, we took my car and headed to the 8 AM service at Jefferson. As soon as church was done we headed back home and were ready to go.
We were on I-5 by 10 AM heading North to HWY 217 in Portland so that we could catch the Sunset HWY (US 26) to Seaside, OR. We arrived at the Leisure Time Resort about 1 PM, got checked in, and proceeded to set up here for 4 nights. This way we will be able to go and see Barb's parents in Clatskanie before we head South to Neskowin on Thursday for a couple of weeks.
About 4 PM we jumped into the Suzuki and headed over to Barb's sister's place, just East of Astoria, where Doug fixed dinner for us, and showed off some of the pictures that he had taken while trying to find a turkey in the snow, while we were in Nevada. They didn't get one.
