This is a Blog about our travels and maybe even a little bit more. We recently traded in our 2005 Holiday Rambler 40' coach with 4 slides on a 29' North Trail travel trailer with one slide, made by Heartland. Now that we have purchased a home, we felt we needed to downsize into something more appropriate. Barb then went looking for a tow vehicle to pull it with. She purchased a 2003 GMC Yukon, which has plenty of seats to take the grandchildren when necessary.

We Leave Mt Hood Behind
As we finally get on the road, headed to Hart Michigan, we get one of our final glimpses of Mt Hood, that we will see for the next couple of months, as we head East down I-84.
Near Brigham City, we will tie into I-15 South for a ways, and then catch I-80 East coming out of Sacramento. We stay on I-80 till just East of Chicago, where we will catch US 31 which will take us North to Hart. It would be nice to make it there by late Friday evening, but realistically it will probably be sometime on Saturday.
Barb got the fork lift ordered to be delivered on Friday morning, so that we can start setting up to start working on Monday, and also arranged with someone to have the water turned on by the city.
We will be parking our coach at the warehouse where we will be working. Dan and Dory Roth will be arriving some time just before Labor Day. We are looking forward to working with them this year.
