Back in the late 60's or early 70's we were known to stand in a line over a block long to eat at the Crab Bowl on Barber Blvd. in Portland. Most anything could be had, including an order of "Frog Legs".
In the early 80's, due to it's extraordinary success, they moved to a new location and soon went out of business.
Victor, pictured above, moved into the old location, some 22 years ago and then after 15 years reintroduced some of the original "Crab Bowl" items.
We very seldom drive down Barber Blvd, but a year or so ago we happened to do so, and Barb noticed the Crab Bowl, sign and realized that it was open. We've been saying for a year or so now that we ought to stop in.
Today we Did!
