We take Barb's dad to the Clinic

About every two months, Barb's dad has to have two transfusion. He doesn't produce red blood cells like he is suppose to, so this becomes necessary. He has to go in the next day after they check his blood if it is too low, and since Sharon needed to get to work, she asked Barb if we could do it. The process takes about 4 hours.

We left Albany at 5:30 AM and picked him up in Clatskanie about 8:45 AM. Then it is over the bridge to Longview Washington to the clinic, about a half hr drive. The procedure takes about 4 hours, so we should get home sometime before 5 PM.

While on the way we stopped to take some pictures of Longview from the overlook on HWY 30 in Oregon of Longview with the fog cover below us and the Longview Bridge and Mt. St. Helens in the background.

Then it was on to Kelso for the free Grandslam that Dennys was giving to everyone in the country on Tuesday the 3rd of Feb. A 3 million dollar spot on the Super Bowl game advised us about it. I suppose they spent another million or two giving away the Grandslams.

Till next time.
